Whether new construction, extensions, or refurbishments – hospital building projects are complex and multifaceted. Not only must strict legal requirements be observed, but demands on building structures and flexible usage models are also continuously increasing. At the same time, most refurbishment work has to be carried out while the hospital remains in operation.

As a general contractor, we are well prepared for these demanding projects and deliver comprehensive new buildings, extensions, and refurbishments for hospitals.

Livable spaces: This naturally also includes spaces for learning. For a range of clients, we deliver modern school buildings designed in line with the latest educational concepts, standards, and official development plans. We create environments for pupils and teachers that impress with their quality and facilities. But above all, foster a positive atmosphere for learning.

As structural work has a long tradition with us, we also offer this service as a stand-alone trade – for all areas of general building construction. Our focus is always on optimizing the construction to achieve economically sound results in the best interest of the client.

Trades:
We carry out reinforced concrete and masonry work as well as facing brick façades.

Construction:
CO₂-reduced concrete mixes have been used in our construction work for many years, and more recently recycled concretes are increasingly being applied. As a cooperation partner in timber-hybrid buildings, we execute the required concrete and reinforced concrete work with professional precision.

Work preparation:
With our in-house department, we prepare formwork layout and site installation plans, manage scheduling and construction sequencing, and develop concepts for precast elements.

Technology:
At our own construction yard, modern wall and slab formwork systems as well as 36 company-owned cranes are ready for deployment.

Over the past decades, we have built up extensive expertise not only in concrete construction, but also in timber construction and combined timber-and-concrete construction. For example, as part of the International Building Exhibition 2010–2013 in Hamburg, we planned and delivered a sustainable timber-hybrid project – and have since successfully completed further hybrid buildings.

In the production of prefabricated timber elements, we work closely with experienced partners. With our own staff, we take care of detailed workshop and assembly planning as well as the professional installation of the timber elements on site. The timber-hybrid construction method significantly reduces construction time, construction waste, and the building’s carbon footprint, while combining the strengths of timber, concrete, and steel. In this way, we create forward-looking and sustainable solutions for our clients – both for adding new storeys and for constructing entire buildings.

Solution-oriented, flexible, and experienced. This best describes our team in the refurbishment and modernization department. Whether large or small projects, we always approach them with great care and sensitivity. Working within existing structures is generally more environmentally friendly, as it consumes fewer resources and produces less waste compared to new construction. If desired, we can use the most sustainable building materials available and consider alternatives such as recycled materials or materials with recycled content.

Our range of services extends from selective interventions on structural elements and energy-efficient refurbishments to comprehensive extension and conversion projects while the building remains in full use, as well as apartment and bathroom renovations.
